Healthy, effective communication is essential at home, work or when
having fun. Develop tools that will bring ease, clarity and personal
integrity to every conversation.
Join us for a fun, playful exploration of essential communication skills. You can learn the importance of feelings and how they connect with your inner values and needs. You can learn how your inner values direct your actions, communications, emotional expressions and all forms of behavior. You can learn to recognize and value other people’s expression of their values and needs.
Does this happen to you:
- Do you always argue about the same things?
- Do you get angry or emotional when there’s conflict?
- Do you feel frustrated or helpless when you try to talk with your children?
- Does the conversation get derailed when you try to talk about important issues?
When you go home from this class you will know how to:
- Communicate your needs clearly and be heard.
- Calm yourself when you’re angry, afraid, or emotional.
- Hear another person without losing yourself.
Who should attend?
- Parents of teens.
- People who work with challenging co-workers.
- People experiencing tension in their relationships.
- Parents who have difficulty communicating with their kids and each other.
