Hello vibrant beings!
I hope all is well with everyone a week after our time together at the retreat in Portland. I don't know about you, but I've been in quite an active state, with lots of energy moving and change happening in my life. In all of this, I am reminded to slow down, be present, breathe, and be open to what's arising next inside me.

What is arising in you now?

I am grateful for the profound level of participation, openness, honesty and sharing from all of you. I saw again how each of us makes these kinds of gatherings meaningful, by being present, and responding with open hearts and minds. I truly feel blessed to have been in the midst of such a clear and present group of people, willing to look deeper to affect change. It also affirms to me what we can do when we come clear together with each other, with intention.

I've put a link on my website of poems and music I shared at the retreat. You can find them here: http://www.innerworkingsresources.com/ConsciousUniverseResources

Also, there's a Postcard Page on my site that you can use to send post-dated affirmations and intentions to yourself. So, if you want a reminder of your intentions, insights, and goals, then you can send them to yourself through this page: http://www.innerworkingsresources.com/postcard (You will need to log in to use this function.)

So here's another Poem by Theodore Roethke that I feel relates to the slow and quick changes manifesting within us:

The Waking

I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.
I learn by going where I have to go.

We think by feeling. What is there to know?
I hear my being dance from ear to ear.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.

Of those so close beside me, which are you?
God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there,
And learn by going where I have to go.

Light takes the Tree; but who can tell us how?
The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair;
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.

Great Nature has another thing to do
To you and me, so take the lively air,
And, lovely, learn by going where to go.

This shaking keeps me steady. I should know.
What falls away is always. And is near.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I learn by going where I have to go.

Lastly, I've added below the list of our collective intentions from the retreat. Reading this, I still feel it is a powerful sharing of collective thought. Thanks to Kari for typing up these notes and making sense of them. She will also be posting this list on the Shift In Action site, so we can get some comments and converstion going about them.

Blessings and light to you all,

Patrick
