Does it pay to use intuition?
Welcome.
Please feel free to post questions or comments on your personal intuition questions here.
For example, I have a question....
When has it paid off for you to listen to your intuition?
Recently, I was driving in town and had a feeling I should drive slower, more consciously. Pulling up to a light where traffic was backed up through the next intersection, I decided to stop and leave some room for cars to turn into the street if they wanted to. Then someone pulled through the intersection real fast and slammed into a car that was also passing. It seemed surreal to watch the this happen and it felt like my going slow was related to this event. Somehow keeping me safer.
Have you had an experience like this?
Did you listen?

listening to intuition
About 16 years ago, something told me I had to take this poor cat home with me. It took about an hour or two of my logical mind arguing with this overwhelming thought to finally do so. "I am a dog person. I have no idea how to care for a cat. I want something to protect me if I go to a big city..." Something told me I just HAD to take him home. It has been the best decision I have ever made in my life. Since then I have paid more attention to my intuition and have been open to more experiences like this.
intuition
I have had many instances that listening to my intuition has benefited me. As a nurse, I knew I had an ambulance coming in with a younger gentleman that had fallen at a gym. I worked in a rural facility, and there were only two nurses on, including myself. I knew with certainty that the call coming in was a code blue, despite the age of the victim and no further information from dispatch or the ambulance crew. I could feel it. I consciously prepared the emergency room for such a call, knowing they were not far away, called in a physician, and found the second nurse to notify her ofthe ambulance. Later she pulled me aside and said that I had had a peculiar look on my face when I had come to find her, and she stated, "You knew didn't you? You knew what it was, even though you didn't get a report before they showed up." Julia
