No experience necessary. If you have experience with meditation, this class can help you shift to a new level of effectiveness and clarity.
This Four week series will give an overview of several different meditation styles, giving the participants time in class to practice and experience each technique. Participants will have opportunities to practice at home and share experiences in class.
Some techniques that will be covered:
- Mindfulness meditation
- One-pointed meditation
- Open Focus meditation
- Self-inquiry
Participants will learn about:
- Using the mind instead of fighting it.
- Finding a technique that suits them.
- Responding to stresses and emotions more effectively.
- Practicing meditation for self-soothing and self-connecting.
