Regretfully, this workshop will not be happening this fall!
We're just too busy with everything else happening in our lives.
We will be offerring other workshops on this theme soon though. Stay in touch!
A weekend retreat on Flathead Lake with Lori Mitchell and Patrick Marsolek
Friday evening October 18th – Sunday, October 20th.
Methodist Camp on Flathead Lake
This retreat is for people in relationship, be they friends, partners, lovers, or family exploring the themes of communication, movement and connection.
We can bring more awareness into how we connect and communicate and move with the people in our lives, with an intention to be authentic and honest with what is alive within us.
We can learn ways of dancing through the obstacles of life, the not-knowing, the embarrassment, the excitement and the mystery. The place of not knowing and being vulnerabile can be rich, robust and healthy for our relationships.
Some ideas we'll be exploring through movement, play, stories and listening:
- A playful exploration into our habits and patterns and a discovery into new creative ways to engage with the challenges that arise in relationship.
- What happens when there’s disconnect?
- What is connection?
- Can we learn to let go of right and wrong thinking?
- Can we bring values based thinking into our conflicts?
- Can we redefine the meaning of conflict into an opportunity for more awareness and a sweeter, closer connection with the important people in our lives? or to others?
- Practice giving and receiving empathy.
- Bringing movement and play and listening into our connection with others.
- Playful movement, dance, music and story. Can we listen to what’s alive in us and the people in our lives?
- Time for storytelling
