We can emphasize compassion as the motivation for action rather than fear, guilt, shame, blame, coercion, threat or justification for punishment. You can get what you want for reasons you will not regret later.
You can make conscious choices about how you will respond whether you get what you want, or not. It is definitely NOT about guilt and tricking people into giving you what you want.
Included in this class will be a focus on personal resiliency including self-hypnosis and self-soothing techniques. NVC can also be used as an internal process, whereby we learn to self-soothe, self-assess our own feelings and needs and come from a place of personal empowerment.
Patrick Marsolek is a Clinical Hypnotherapist with a private practice in Helena and Great Falls. He is also the author of Transform Yourself: A self-hypnosis manual. He teaches classes and workshops on personal transformation and self-empowerment.
