Coming Back to Life: At a time when ecological, economic and political systems are unraveling, some people choose to ignore or deny these realities while others find themselves overwhelmed if not paralyzed by their awareness and concern. The Work that Reconnects offers us another way to respond to the pain we experience by engaging our hearts, minds and spirits in order to deepen and repair our connections to ourselves, our human community and all planetary life.
Based on group practices developed by eco-philosopher Joanna Macy, this workshop will help you acknowledge and respond to the full range of feelings you experience during this pivotal time in our human journey. Using dialogue, ritual and contemplation we will move through a spiral path of gratitude, owning our pain, seeing with new eyes and going forth renewed and reconnected.
